Clove

I could use a clove cigarette. Inhale. Exhale. Screw those fucking yoga tapes; there are things more real that can make me concentrate on breathing. Respiration recites its unwavering iambic pentameter as smoke from my cigarette snakes in the air, weaving around my thoughts dissipating like my breath going forward and curling back like my mind- Ah: runs, runs and I am running to nowhere.
Instead I'm clutching a clove between two fingers- the only parts standing still on my agitated body. Inhale. Exhale

Just reread all the poetry in my gallery. Took out some poems that were really bad and moved them to Scraps. My writing has progressed somewhat. I'm thinking about taking a poetry class, but I really don't want to take an English intro class. Blah.
